Objectives
"FRIENDS OF MONTAGU'S HARRIER" NETWORK
↗ Saving the Montagu's harrier from extinction in the Iberian Peninsula is a "Herculean" task that requires great effort and, above all, citizen and multisectoral collaboration.
That is why we have created the ‘Friends of the Montagu's harrier’ network, which anyone can join. Together we can do it!
THE NETWORK
The “Friends of the Montagu's harrier” Network is a citizen science initiative that aims to involve the entire community in the conservation of the Montagu's harrier, providing information, training and awareness-raising so that they can play an active role in preserving this species and its habitat, not only during the project, but also after its completion.
IS FOR EVERYONE!
Let's save the Montagu's harrier together!
↗ Landowners, agroforestry managers and farmers, farmers' associations and agricultural producers who want to help save their ally in the fields, by learning how to locate nests and protect them, supporting the implementation of the "Save the Montagu's harrier" campaign during the breeding season, and participating in the transition to the cultivation of cereal varieties compatible with the conservation of the species.
